Sorry about so many posts....  I have a quick (hopefully) question:

Why do the names of my uploaded templates get converted to lower case?

    Many thanks

    Hello Nitin,

Are you sure about that? I am not able to reproduce it. At least in version 3.1. I tried both uploading a template from the administrative part and creating one by adding a new master file in the App_Master folder and restarting the IIS. I even tried to duplicate existing template but the letters is preserving.

    All the best,

    Vassil,

I have tried uploading master files as well as copying a new master file in App_Master and then restarting IIS. But I get the same result - The names of templates are converted to lower case.

For examplme, I have a Master Page named ContentTemplate.master. After uploading it, it gets listed as contenttemplate in Templates Admin view as well as the drop down list for available templates while creating new pages.

    Sincerely,

    nG

    Hello Nitin,

Indeed, this behavior occurs in version 3.0 but is already fixed in the newly released 3.1. You could give it a try. Anyway, thanks for reporting this. We were able to find a bug in the new version when testing this scenario ;). We appreciate your time and involvement.

    Sincerely yours,

    Vassil,

Yes, we are currently using Sitefinity v3.0 SP2. I will download v3.1 and integrate it with our code base .

    Thank you for your help.

    Sincerely,

    nG
