I finished installing sitefinity and also created a new webproject and a couple of templates in it. However when I use the controls from sitefinity's toolbox, it does not give me a whole lot of options to customize. To be specific, for example, I am using a sitemenu and want to use Times New Roman as the font family. It does not give me any options there. Also is there something wrong with my installation as I cannot see a folder called "RadControls" when I open my project inside Visual Studio? I am using Sitefinity 3.7. Lets say i want to declare a datasource for some control inside sitefinity and I name it "MyDataSource". Now which file do I go and add this new "MyDataSource" so that sitefinity would recongnize it? I searched for  radcontrols inside the Sitefinity folder within the porject directory but could not find one. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Viren,

The control designer maps all public properties that are exposed by a control and properties of a primitive type like string, int, enum, boolean.

RadControls folder is not presented in installations above Sitefinity 3.2, since all controls are inside Telerik.Web.UI.dll that is located in your bin folder.

You can use LinqDataSource, SiteMapDataSource, XMLDataSource, EntityDataSource, ObjectDataSource etc as a user or custom controls and set their properties from the control designer. The better option is using a ustom or a user controls inside which you bind rad control by using data source controls.

    Best wishes,
