    Hi,

Which table in the database holds the data for Generic content, i need to change links within each of the generic content and pages, i need to be able to change this without going into CMS, how do I go about doing this?

    Thanks,

    Hi Annie,

Thank you for using our services.

I suggest that you should use Sitefinity API - Working with modulesWorking with pages instead of working directly with the database data due to the complexity of relations. Another option is using Georgi's tool. All text content and urls for each content item is located under [sf_CmsTextContent] table.

Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Sincerely yours,

    Hi,

In the replace tool what does the part 'Generic control (all-pages) not in shared content' mean?

    Thanks,
    Annie

    Hello Annie,

It means that the rule you are going to apply will affect only content items that have been created by the GenericContent control - this content is not shared. All content created by the GenericContent module - "Create new item" is considered as shared content.

    All the best,
