If I want to build a new module in sitefinity I can create new entities based on several existing entities, like: Document, News, Generic Content etc.

My question is:  how do I decide which will be the best base entity?
I suppose the Generic content entity is the most generic one, so and I assume that, if you are not sure you should use the generic entity?

    Hi Bes,

You have to create a generic content based module. Please take a look at

Sample Generic Content based module: Products module
