    Hello,

We would like to use sitefinity one of our most visited site. Our current daily unique visitor counts is 350.000 and our impressions are approximately 1.000.000 daily . Did you ever try to handle this kind of huge traffic with sitefinity ?

    Thanks,
    Fatih

    Hi Fatih,

Thank you for your interest in our CMS.

We are aware of a web site having about 400 000 page views(impressions) on a single dual-core machine (no web farms/gardens). We are confident that this load can be handled by Sitefinity, but the most important thing here will be hardware resources that you should have. Considering the page cache in any case, and everything will be just fine.

    All the best,
    Georgi

What were the sizes of the pages as well as the db server.  My client is looking at a site with 1,000,000 - 3,000,000 daily page hits.  How is this software going to hold up and what will we need from an underlying hardware perspective.

    Hello Derrick Hadzima,

I think that two servers in web farm with SQL 2008 with 2x4G ram, QuadCore 2, SAS RAID will do the trick for you. Generally there is no certain reply to your question. Everything is matter of testing and simultaneous connections. Bases on your daily average values you could perform low testing.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
