    I'm trying to figure out how exactly certain files that have already been uploaded to the site can be updated in Sitefinity Project Manager. When uploading files, if the name already exists then the newly uploaded file is given an extension. Therefore, it begs the question: How do I update these existing files? Files such as CSS files in my themes, Master files associated to templates, the EditorToolsFile.xml I modified, etc.

    Since these kinds of files can be updated somewhat regularly, how does Sitefinity facilitate this needed functionality?

    Hello Alfred Pena,

    I am not exactly sure what you mean. Can you please provide us with some details? The project manager is only a gateway to your project urls, so I am not exactly sure how this is connected with files.

    Georgi,

    We must have different project manager then. Because on my project manager there is a section for Files. Here you can upload files, delete files, rename, etc. My question was that this Files section does not seem to let you update files. But if this Files section is not supposed to exist, then I guess my first question is irrelevant.

    Hello Alfred Pena,

    Sitefinity backend has a Files section which uses RadTreeView, RadGrid and ContextMenu control. The RadMenuItems can be extended with custom logic OnItemClick event.

    <asp:Label runat="server" Text="test" ID="Label1"></asp:Label>
        <telerik:RadContextMenu ID="cntMenu" runat="server">
            <Items>
                <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="aaa" runat="server"></telerik:RadMenuItem>
                <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="bbb" runat="server"></telerik:RadMenuItem>
                <telerik:RadMenuItem Text="ccc" runat="server"></telerik:RadMenuItem>
            </Items>
                <Targets>
                    <telerik:ContextMenuControlTarget ControlID="Label1" />
                </Targets>
        </telerik:RadContextMenu>

    Kind regards,
