I tried adding it to the search index under "Content Items". I pointed it to the page that contains the forum module on it but nothing shows up in the search results.

If it's not possible to add it to the site search, how can I create a separate search just for the forums... like you're doing here.

    I'm running SF 5.1.

Anyone? No one is trying to search the forums in their SF project?

    Hi Jeff,

We already have this option when creating a Search index. Take a look at the attached image. To use the search, you need to specify where your forums are published. Also,  on the Search page you should have a Search box and a Search results control, where the Search box is configured the use the Search index, which indexes forums.

    All the best,

Thanks. The Forum checkbox wasn't visible in my default search index but I see it now when I create a new index.
