    Hi I have been looking at the feature comparison chart on this page http://www.sitefinity.com/asp-net-cms-features/compare-editions.aspx and I noticed that one of the features that is included in the Standard Edition is Permissions. Can someone give me a better idea of what this feature is?

    I have been looking for away to lock down the editing interface a bit more. My main concern is that at the moment any user that can edit content blocks can also add any controls to a given page ( i.e that user could grab a forum control and add it to the homepage). Does Permissions allow me to lock down the controls more? or is there another way I can do this? Thanks for any help.

    Hello Scott Williams,

    The both editions does not support this functionality out of the box, but there is a way to hide some controls from the ToolBox.

    - How to hide controls from toolbox section in Sitefinity
    - Let's hide Upload Controls section from Sitefinity 3.6 toolbox
