Please don't hate me Telerik.  Sitefinity has incredible potential and I'm truly a big fan.

    Hello Gabe,

We find constructive criticism much more valuable than any positive and complimentary comments. That's why your feedback is highly appreciated.

You are right that there's a lot to be done but we already have the base and now it's a matter of time to make Sitefinity a powerful development platform for construction and management of websites.

We hope that the next releases will better fit your requirements and expectations. We are really grateful for your sincere notes and comments as they will definitely help us improve Sitefinity.

    Best wishes,
    the Telerik team

I agree Gabe, a ferrari of the CMS world indeed....but custom modules is the biggest headache ever

would be good to get this addressed with more examples and walk throughs that dont miss out chunks and leave you guessing

Hopefully they'll get there with a bit of direction

I have to agree with the custom module bit.  I am not a strong C# programmer and I sometimes ask myself "how do I do that?" when I read the tutorials.  I was able to figure out the program enough to put together a few sites consisting of over 500 pages of content.

    Hi medicalwebgeek,

In the new Developer Manual, there is a whole section describing how to write a custom module - the Contacts module (Building a Module is the title). You may be familiar with this module from the Sitefinity blogs. The explanation is spread throughout 6 topics. Please let us know how exactly you expect the tutorial to go through these steps - do you prefer more code, do you prefer more theoretical explanation on how such a module could be implemented in Sitefinity, do you need more specific code examples.
Your opinion is very important  for improving the documentation.
