    Hi Sitefinity,

    I have Four provider in generic content module in which i have metakeys like position, name etc...
    I have done the project in arabic and english.so i am using postion for urlRewriteFormat where position is of integer type.

    Below is the settings in web.config file content for Activities provider

    <add name="Activities" urlRewriteFormat="[Position].aspx" urlDateTimeFormat="yy-MM-dd" urlWhitespaceChar="_" visible="True" defaultMetaField="Name" securityProviderName="" allowLocalization="True" allowVersioning="True" applicationName="/Activities" allowWorkflow="False" allowComments="false" commentsModeration="true" versioningProviderName="" connectionStringName="GenericContentConnection" type="Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data.Providers.DefaultProvider, Telerik.Cms.Engine.Data"/>

    Problem:
     The fullstory url is appending extra character at the end.
    http://192.168.2.229/finalqp/en/homepage/qpoperations/oilandgasfields/20-2026000404.aspx

    where 20 is the position number and adding extra character like -2026000404.

    Expected url:    http://192.168.2.229/finalqp/en/homepage/qpoperations/oilandgasfields/20.aspx

    Hi ravi shankar,

    Thank you for using our services.

    This is actually expected behavior if your URLs are not unique. Since you have more than one posts with the same postion field the system should know exactly which item to pull out. This is why it is adding the additional id - make unique URLs. If you set the URL rewrite format to something not so general then the additional chars will not be added.
