    Hi,

Recently I read a post in one of the forums on Sitefinity that Sitefinity does not support workflows for Intra-Site modules. But that post was a two year old post. I wanted to know does the current version of Sitefinity (3.7) incude a support for workflows for Intra-Site modules ?

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hello Saumitra,

If your module is generic content based there is no problem to use workflow service.

    Hi Ivan,

Actually we are building a custom module which saves the data from a web form to our custom designed tables in the database. The data includes a document saved in the database which requires approval from an authorised user. Hence this requirement.

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hi Ivan,

Any updates on this issue ? Actually we need to take a decision on the CMS to be used for one of our project requirements based on this.

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hello Saumitra,

The built-in wokrflow can work only with IContent objects and IStagedContent. There is not workflow implementation for modules that do not inherit base GenericContent classes. It does not matter whether your are using an Intrasite or a Puggable module.

    Kind regards,
