    Hi,

    I've developed a web site using Sitefinity 3.7 Standard Edition, SP3. I've a requirement over there that a page group needs to be accessed only by a particular role that we've created through Sitefinity administration module and be unavailable to the rest of the roles. I tried achieving the same through the web.config as follows:
    <location path="Member-Area-Paid" allowOverride="false">
        <system.web>
          <authorization>
            <deny users="?"/>
            <deny roles="Basic Users"/>
            <allow roles="Paid Users"/>
          </authorization>
        </system.web>
      </location>

    The users that would be a part of these roles would be the users registering on the front-end web site.

    But it does not work as expected. Can you please help me figure out what is missing ?

    Thanks,
    Saumitra

    Hi Saumitra,

    You should use the page permissions to define which roles should have access.

    All the best,
