    Hi,

I have just released a community sf 3.6 sp2 site into a hosted environment. Everything is working ok except I can't login. I keep getting kicked back to the login page even though I am entering the correct credentials.
I think there is a cookie issue..

I can login on my dev machine and both my dev website and hosted environment site are pointing to the same database.

i have checked the latest user manual and don't see any instructions to assist.

    What can I try?

    Hello sam,

Do you get any messages during the authentication or you are logged out once you access the backend. The behavior you described could occur if you reach the memory limit of your account. Then the application pool is recycled and your session is lost.

    All the best,

What are the steps the site needs to work in a hosted environment?

Does aspnet worker processs need write permission etc...??

I have a keep alive dll that runs every 2mins..

    Hi sam,

It seems that your session is authenticated. If you supply your credentials and then type the following url http://intelligentdesign.co.nz/Sitefinity/Admin/Default.aspx you will access the backend of your website. As I see it you are calling /admin/ in your url which causes the trouble.
You could try using the following url http://intelligentdesign.co.nz/sitefinity/  or http://intelligentdesign.co.nz/sitefinity/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fsitefinity%2fDefault.aspx
