My dev PC died, so at the moment all I have access to is an old laptop :)  I wasnt able to get the site I was working on moved over to my webhost before the PC died (2 drives, only the OS one died).

How do I go about getting community installed on a hosting provider?  The install Management panel when creating a new project allows me to pick a SQL server, so I'd choose theirs...but is the idea that the project manager is to sit locally on your dev pcs?  Then you move the physical files live?

    Hello Steve,

You could try intalling community( template or project?) on your dev machine and then migrate the files to your server. If you are talking about community version of Sitefinity you can install Blank Project on your web hosting.

    Best wishes,

I was getting MetaData FK errors trying to use the Company Template...so I just unchecked the last textbox to have it generate a blank project.

So it's working now, but how can I get it to use that Company template? :)  Looks awesome

    Hello Steve,

The templates are stored in <Sitefinity Dir>\ProjectManager\Templates as a zip archive. The project manager simply extracts them to <Sitefinity3.6 Dir>\WebSites\<Project Name>\App_Themes as directories. For more information, consult with the User Manual, "Working with Page Themes" section.

    Kind regards,
    Dido
