    Got everything setup, linked to database, created a blank website.  When I try to login and edit it, I get this error.

    additional info, apparently it works fine when I launch it in Visual Studios, just went to that page and hit view in browers.

    But trying to access it through the normal sitefinity access, fails.

    Hello Blasty,

    Try using the fill namespace -

    if (Telerik.Cms.Web.UI.Util.CheckMinimalServicePermissions(new ServicesPermissions(module.GetType())))

    Make sure that Telerik.Cms.Web.UI assembly is located in project's bin. Try to compile the project and see whether an error will be thrown.

    Sincerely yours,

    Thanks for your help, that worked.

    I'm curious as to why it worked though.  At the top of that default.cs file is the proper using statement.

    using Telerik.Cms.Web.UI;

    Is there a namespace conflict in the file?

    Hi Blasty,

    We are not able to reproduce this error locally with five installations without changing any file of our projects. Does the problem still persists at your end?

    Kind regards,

    Well the problem is gone when I added the direct namespace delaration, I imagine if I take it out and put it back to the original format, the problem would come back.

    I also have the telerik Rad Ajax Controls installed.  These were  in months ago before I ever saw sitefinity.  But I don't think that could cause any conflicts since the Util object is in the CMS namespace, which I don't think the Rad Ajax controls even have the CMS namespace.

    Everything is a default install.
    C:\Program Files\Telerik

    C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for ASPNET AJAX Q3 2008
    C:\Program Files\Telerik\Sitefinity3.7

    not sure if this helps any, but if you'd like me to provide you with any other info, or check stuff, let me know.
