How does connection pooling work with sitefinity?

It seems that under oracle, I had to use the db owner of the schema in order to have the tables/project created. I only found one connection string to change the connection to the database and do not want to use the db schema owner. Is there a way to have one connection string for read-only page views and have another for read/write privelages? I tried to change the connection string to a read write user after all the objects where created, but the webpage was giving me insufficient privelage errors.

Has anyone had any problems incorporating webcontrols with custom security, web forms, etc using sitefinity?

    Any information is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Rajiv,

Unfortunately, we do not support such scenarios. It is necessary to have a db_owner permissions for the account used in the connection string, otherwise you would not be able to access the file groups. We will consider providing this out of the box.

    All the best,
