    In the RadEditor window, I see there is a button for Full Screen, but when you click on this, it just makes the window full screen in the pop-up window, or about 600 pixels wide.  Is there any way to make the RadEditor window the entire size of the monitor/ true full screen?  I have looked everywhere for this.
    Thank you!!
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

    The RadEditor's full screen option extends the content area as far as the browser allows. You may try the following :
    1. Before pressing the RadEditor's Full Screen option go to Tool->Full Screen for IE or View->Full Screen for Firefox
    2. Then click  Full Screen or press F11. It should look like the attached file.

    Hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Nikolai

    Hi Nikolai,
    We tried everything and still cannot get the editor to come up in a full screen, even when the main window is open full.  And we tried this on several desktops here in our office, as well on our customers desktops.   It seems the editor is confined within the window that it is opened in.  Here is a screen shot.

    Using I.E 7 and Firefox 3.

    Thank you Nikolai !!

    Hello Steve,

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    The url you have provided us with returns 404 error.However, the RadEditor window can be resized under modules section and if you add the control on the public part of your web site.
    In page edit mode, you cannot resize the window, because the size is restricted by the Iframe. So clicking F11 will not resize the window there.

    Let us know if there is anything else that we e can do for you.

    Kind regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov

    Hi Ivan
    Correct,  it is the Editor Window on the Pages, when you edit a content of a page, not a module like news, or generic content.  Modules work fine.

    I talked to Joe Anderson, and he confirmed this to be the case, but he also gave us a work around which is to try and use Generic Content Module as this will open in full screen mode, but this will not work for the customer.  I actually am really surprised that no-one else has ever brought this up before.
    If you enable the full tool bar, you really only get about 2 or 3 inches of space to work in which is very small.

    Could this be put in as a new feature request?  I am willing to name my next born Ivan.  We are hearing back from our customers and this is the number one complaint. Actually their only complaint.  If the window size could be set as a % in a CSS and not a fixed size, wow, that would really help.

    thank you Ivan !!!!
    Appreciate your help !!!!

    Hi Steve,

    There is one way to resize the window, but this will affect all control windows and they will look bigger in edit mode.( this approach require to edit  div.radwindow class under ~/Sitefinity/Admin/Themes/Default/AjaxControlsSkins/Sitefinity/Window.css)

    The problem is that the Iframe does not allow you to resize the window as it does under modules section. I will add your suggestion as a feature request. Let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

    Sincerely yours,

    Yes, Please....
    If you could please add this to the top of your list.  It is very difficult to edit a section on a page if you have the full tool-bar enabled.   Very small to work in.
    Thank you  !!!!
    Steve.

    Wow.
    Thank you sooooo much for fixing this in 3.6 sp1.  I just happen to see a button at the top left of the page editor window and pushed it and ba da bing, the page editor window is now full size screen.
    You have no idea how much this helps!  I will name my next born after the person that fixed this.  :-)
    This product just keeps getting better by the day.
    Thank you Sitefinity!!!

    How about making the DocumentManager window larger? Or at least wider so that you don't have to alter the columns every time to be able to view the folders and/or longer file names? See image for reference. Seen different posts but not really for the DocumentManager window....?
    Thanks!

    Hi Laura,

    You have to map the external template - GenericContentDesigner.ascx and add the logic below to it

    protected override void OnInit(EventArgs e)
    {
        base.OnInit(e);

        this.Page.PreRenderComplete += new EventHandler(Page_PreRenderComplete);
    }

    void Page_PreRenderComplete(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        DialogDefinition def = textEditor.GetDialogDefinition("DocumentManager");
        def.Width = Unit.Pixel(800);
        def.Height = Unit.Pixel(550);
    }

    You can control the size of each dialog using DialogDefinition properties.

    Best wishes,
