    Hi Quade,

    If you want to change the language, you can do this by

       1. declaring the property in the RadEditor's declaration:

    <telerik:RadEditor runat="server" ID="RadEditor1">
    <Languages>
    <telerik:SpellCheckerLanguage Code="en-GB" Title="GB" />
    </Languages>
    </telerik:RadEditor>

       2. adding the language in the RadEditor's Languages collection. It is recommended to add the language in Page_Load:

    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
     if (!Page.IsPostBack)
      {
         RadEditor1.Languages.Add(new SpellCheckerLanguage("en-GB", "GB"));
      }
    }

    Note that you should have dictionary for en-BG under App_Data/RadSpell folder.

    Hi Quade,

    The dictionaries that you see in your App_Data directory are the default one that the RadEditor ships in with. Please take a look at the following thread of dictionaries that have been submitted by the Telerik Community members - RadSpell Dictionaries. The list has one for en-GB.

    Best wishes,

    Hi Dave,

    Sitefinity uses the RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX, so you could take a look at Enable RadSpell in RadEditor

    Thank you Ivan

    I've added the new TDF file in the app data folder
    However, i'm not sure what else is needed

    Its already in the config file, so that bit is sorted
    However, i cannot find the editor for point 5

    a couple of questions
    Will i have to update every instance of an editor?
    Can you point me to a file to update to get me started?

    Thanks

    maybe i spoke too soon

    Its works locally fine
    however, I've published the site to live, and i'm getting the following error

    ---------------------------
    Message from webpage
    ---------------------------
    Web.config registration missing!
     The spellchecking functionality requires a HttpHandler registration in web.config. Please, use the control Smart Tag to add the handler automatically, or see the help for more information.

    Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler.axd
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    However, i have this in the <system.web><httpHandlers> web.config file:

        <add verb="*" validate="false" path="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler.axd" type="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler, Telerik.Web.UI"/>

    and also this in  <system.webserver><handlers>

    <add name="Spellcheck" preCondition="integratedMode" verb="*" path="Telerik.Web.SpellCheckHandler.axd" type="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler, Telerik.Web.UI"/>

    any ideas what the problem is?

    Hello Dave,

    You could take a look a this KB - Error: Web.config registration missing! The Telerik dialogs require a HttpHandler registration in the web.config file.

    Sincerely yours,

    Thanks Ivan
    I replaced the commented line with the line below it, in system.webserver/handlers

    <!--

    <add name="Spellcheck" preCondition="integratedMode" verb="*" path="Telerik.Web.SpellCheckHandler.axd" type="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler, Telerik.Web.UI"/>-->

    <

    add name="Spellcheck" verb="*" path="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler.axd" type="Telerik.Web.UI.SpellCheckHandler, Telerik.Web.UI"/>

    all works now
    thanks

    Hello Dave,

    Is it possible to use the Sitefinity Translation-Files to also translate an embedded Silverlight widget? Or do the Silverlight widgets need an extra Database to refer to?

    Thanks, Manuel.

    Hi ,

    The Silverlight widget is embedded into xap file. Which labels you want to translate, because some of them could be exposed in the public templates  of the video control

    [Sitefinity_3_7_standard_ExternalTemplates]\Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\Libraries

    • ListVideoDetails.ascx
    • ListvideoMaster.ascx

    Please check the templates and see whether mapping them will do the trick for you
