    Hello Truong Pham,

Thank you for using our services.

Sitefinity's Project Manager needs to be run into 32 bit mode and in the Classic App pool. To enable the Project manager to work in a 64 bit OS you should enable 32 bit application for IIS. Right click on the Application Pool and select "Advanced Settings" then "Enable 32-bit Applications"  (see attached image). Also, try changing the application pool for the telerik/Sitefinity3.7 from Default to Classic .NET AppPool. Check out whether you have configured your web server to handle ASP.Net extensions. Make sure that ASP is installed (by default, ASP is not installed with IIS).

Note that only the Project Manager has to run in 32 bit mode and using the Classic App pool. After you run it and create a website, you will be able to run the website in Default App pool and in 64 bit mode.

    Best wishes,
    Rado

Good to hear this - because from the installation guide on the site it looks like SiteFinity Site in general have to be run under classic mode.
    http://www.sitefinity.com/support/installation-guide.aspx
If you look here - Step 7 -- The S... Project Manager created a new...
And then the guide shows how to switch to "Classic App Pool".

    Hi,
I'm using Sitefinity 3.7 Standard Edition in Windows 7 64bit (inside a Parallels VM). To avoid problems and mantaining the integrated mode in IIS 7, I have created a new Application Pool called SitefinityAppPool and the I have changed the identity property :

    - From ApplicationPoolIdentity to NetworkService

Then I've changed the Application Pool used by the Sitefinity 3.7 web site moving from DefaultAppPool to SitefinityAppPool. In this way it works fine and you have only to change, when you create a new web site, the application pool to the SitefinityAppPool.

Weird. For some reason I did not have the asp.net 2.0 mappings only the 4.0 mappings.

I finally just added my own application in IIS and pointed it to the SiteFinity\ProjectManager folder. Then it worked.

That is incredibly weird. I just had exactly the same problem. I installed Sitefinity on another client's server a couple of days ago and didn't run into this issue. Too weird!

Thanks for the post! I wouldn't have thought to look for the app mappings in the sitefinity app, as they further up the tree. :|
