    If i download a develop with the trail version of standard, what will it take to active the trial when we purchase a license?

    Hi Duncan Evans,

    There is no difference between trial and licensed version. Once you purchase a key for your domain name the trial message will stop appearing. The message does not appear if you are working on localhost or using IP to access your website.

    Hi
    I have downloaded trial version of telerik sitefinity cms.but it doesn't work.its giving errors when i open the sample site or make a new site from a template.
    can u tell me if there r any special steps related to use it.

    Thank you for using our services.

    Can you please be more specific on that kind of errors you are getting. This way we would be able to take a deeper look into your issues and provide you with solutions. Some information on the system that you are using would also be useful (what OS you are using, IIS version).

    In the mean time can you please take a look at Bullet Proof Guide to Installing Sitedinity 3.x. Just to make sure that you have followed the correct steps setting up your IIS, and installing Sitefinity. There should be problems with the trial version, since the only thing that differs it from a licensed version is that you do not have a license key. All the functionality is the same.

    I hope that by just following the install guide steps, you will solve your problems. If otherwise we will be more than happy to assist you.

    Hello,

    I have installed Sitefinity 4.1.1339.0 but cannot create a project and get started using it.
    It is stuck on the Activate a license screen, the email is grayed out, and I don't have a license file yet.

    How do you activate the trial version?

    I heard back from support. They said it's because our server may not be able to connect to the Sitefinity company.
    So there's a link to generate a trial license file.

    So far this is working for me and I'm posting this here in case is helps some one else.
