almost have it, can open project manager, create new project, but when i try to view our edit, this happens

"The resource cannot be found. Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

    Requested URL: /A Woman's Fund Inc./Sitefinity/Default.aspx"

but the demo site works fine,

i probably just need to point everything in the right direction but could use some assistance.

i think this has something to do with my SQL settings, how do i set it to connect to a database?

    SQL Server 2008 express edition
    2005 Vis. Studio Manager
    are what i'm using

ok, i see the problem, the demo points to the correct directory, therefor connects to the database, my created project (A Woman's Fund Inc) is not pointed to the correct directory and therefor doesn't.

could someone help me to correct this?

    Hi Stacy Shomaker,

If the problem comes from your SQL server you will not be able to access the project manager. Could you try using more friendly name for your project - without spaces and dots /A Woman's Fund Inc./ I think that the problem comes from the name you have chosen. Please try switching the name and let us know how it goes.

used a different project name, got further, now it tells me to

"Verify that the instance name is correct and that the SQL server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to the SQL Server)

ok, what is the "instance name" and where can i change it?

p.s. my new project is called "awf1" that works better...

the confusion was know which verison of SQL one is using, mine happened to be SQL express, which is NOT 2005 or 2008.

in any case, i am able to open my created project now,..

    next we modify and publish!

    Hello Stacy Shomaker,

The problem comes from the SQL server and the connection to it. I think that we have already sent a reply to your support request. Could you check it please.
