I like being able to add meta tags to the page dynamically using the admin tool, but why is the selection of meta tags restricted? I'd like to be able to add a meta refresh tag... see we use nettracker and we'd like to be able to use a redirect page to count hits to an external page.

i just realized that you have the external pages tool, I'm using this successfully, but does the raw url set in sitefinity (the internal aspx, not the actual external link) get passed through IIS so we can track it? that would be great!

    Hi SelArom,

You can add refresh meta tag through the Admin Interface. I have attached a screenshot of this option.
On your second question, yes, the external pages are also handled. Let's say you add the external page "External_Page.aspx" and direct it to http://www.sitefinity.com. Then in your site when a request is made to ~/External_Page.aspx, in the Telerik.Cms.Web.CmsHttpModule on BeginRequest, you get redirected to sitefinity.com.

    Hope this helps.

    All the best,

thanks! sorry I guess I totally missed that. I guess I assumed that the refresh had a meta name of refresh and was looking in the wrong place. the external pages is actually a better solution tho, but I will keep this tip in mind for future reference thanks again!
