Recently I have noticed that our biggest challenge with Sitefinity is determinining what should go in the RadEditor to give the client the most flexibility and what makes more sense in a stylesheet. Often it is some combination of the two. For example some markup with class names or Ids in the Editor then styled in the theme sheets. However when the stylesheets contain images it takes away from the clients flexibility to swap out images (just an example). It would be amazing if there was some way for the client to adjust stylesheets from Sitefinity. Like an online stylesheet editor available while in Edit Page mode.

    Sincerely,

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

Thanks for the suggestion. We are considering providing CSS editor maybe with the next version. Most probably it will be text only for a start.

    Hi Bob,

Good to know that you will be providing Stylesheet Editor in next Sitefinity Version.

This would be helpfull as in case while applying external styles for Pages in Sitefinity.

Please could you let me know if Telerik has already added this option as i am using Sitefinity 3.5 Community Edition.

    Regards,
    Hemal

    Hi Hemal,

This feature is not implemented yet.
There is a control defined in the Telerik.Cms.Web.UI, named JsFileLink. You can use its FileName property, to specify an external CSS file to be included in the page.

    I hope this helps.

    All the best,

    One for Ivan really

But if someone was to write a blog post of how to obtain true wysiwyg in the editor that would be great....even if its just text only for now

loads of clients moan about it, and its something we've tried to do but had issues

if you guys could write a quick article on the best way to acheive this, i'm sure it will help loads of us

should be a small article but well appreciatated

so how about it Ivan you up for the challenge? or pass it on to one of your collegues

    thanks

    Hello Quade,

We have something that you might like - please take a look at Custom Designers, CSS. As for the root of the task, we had a conversation with Ivan and the team about that and reached to a conclusion that this is not so trivial task. Most probably we will have something like that in the future, but we will not be able to provide an example in our Blogs.
