In a pursuit to become more transparent regarding future Sitefinity releases, Telerik decided to maintain a public Product Roadmap. With this we want to give you details on what to expect from us in the next months and to show our commitment to constant quality improvement. This effort is part of our initiative to ensure regular and predictable releases of Sitefinity.
We welcome all of your comments and suggestions. Your involvement in evaluating our product is highly appreciated.

What’s in store for v4.0?
• Integration with Windows Workflow Foundation
This includes support for WWF runtime, a set of predefined activities for Sitefinity
workflows and web controls for displaying and executing workflows dynamically.
• Automator Service
This service will provide API and UI for scheduling system tasks such as site
indexing, automatic page publication, etc. It will also provide base classes for
implementing custom tasks and scripts.
• Silverlight support
We will provide Silverlight controls and themes for the Sitefinity administration part.
• Import/Export control templates
This tool will significantly lower the number of files in a Sitefinity web site. It
will allow for one-file modules, which will greatly simplify module deployment.
• Site synchronization service
This service will provide data and file synchronization for dev-to-production and
mirrored servers.
• Extension of page properties
These will include response settings such as cache expiration period, response
encoding, HTTP headers, etc.
• Browse-and-edit feature
This will allow users to edit the web site without logging into the administrative
back-end.
