We have a control that contains asp:fileupload control. But after some testing the control looses its filename and hence the file cannot be uploaded.

When the fileupload control is used on a page only, it works fine. Just not embeded into a sitefinity control.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Shaun,

Great name by the way :)

I am sure Telerik will agree with me on this one but I would recommend using the radUpload control which is supplied with SiteFinity.  For one you are guarenteed compatibility and two it is just a better and easier control to use and since you are paying for a system with those controls you might as well use them!

Telerik have loads of Samples and Demos on their site and also there is plenty of Documentation.

If you don't want to use it I am sure they will help.

    Hi Shaun,

It is difficult to investigate the problem because we don't know in which Sitefinity control you are embedding the asp:fileupload control.
Please send us the source of your control.
In the meantime, take a look at r.a.d.upload and drop us a line if you come across any difficulties.
