    Hi all,

I have been having an intermittent issue since upgrading an exisiting SiteFinity site from 3.2 to 3.2 SP2.
The upgrade was required in order to get the image library paging working correctly as part of the SP2 fixes.
However I am finding that in the live environment the site will stop working maybe 3-4 times a week at random times and throws the error below. Although the message states the error as 'login has failed' the database and login are always operating fine. I have found that this can be resolved by simpily restarting the App Pool for the site and also restarting the website within IIS. However due to the intermittent nature of the issue the site can be down for several hours before this process can be carried out. I have checked the server logs and the only message(s) that occur at or around the same time refer to the recycle process on the App Pool, but as this is a standard part of IIS I can't see how this is related. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Luke Andersen,

The issue could not come from the data provider. Something is wrong with your SQL server. You could additionally create a simple control that opens SQL connection and trigger it on each minute. You could also increase the time for AppPool recycling and AppPool memory limits.

    Best wishes,
    Ivan Dimitrov
