    Hi Guys,

We've created a WAP version of a client site and we need to know if there is any way in which we can minimize the initial file size load please?

At the moment, the first page load is about 125kb which is insanely big for a mobile download.

Is there anyway of removing the resouce files which downloads the ajax files etc?

If you can help, we'd appreciate it!

Thanks and have a good weekend.

    Hi James,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Have you created with a special masterpage for such devices, without any ScriptManager (and related) controls? You will have to ensure that no (or a little) javascript is added. Also, you should make sure that the compilation debug is turned off from the web.config file.

For best results, you should use the Mobile Asp.Net controls - If it's not too late and you are not using them, we recommend you doing so.
