    Hi there,

I am currently working on a SiteFinity site (using Community Edition) on my laptop (which makes my current domain: localhost).

    - Would there be any problem deploying the site to my hoster once I've completed the site on my laptop?

    - Is there any settings/properties I need to change to make the deployment run smoothly?

    Hello Vimal,

It should not be a problem to migrate your existing Sitefinity project from the development machine to the production server. You could find detailed instructions on this matter in our User Manual > Working with Web Site Projects > Migrating Projects to the Production Web Server.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Nitesh Rastogi,

We sent a reply to the other request opened by you. Please take a look at Since Sitefinity is an ASP.NET based website there are not any difference between migrating Sitefinity and any other ASP.NET website.
