We would like to have two sites namely dev and qa both of them pointing to two separate databases so the client and their copywriters can use the qa db to add content while we continue workign on the dev site. Since all the Sitefinity information is stored in the db, when we make development changes in the dev site, we will need to have some mechanism to sync the two db so our dev changes get thru to the qa db on a daily basis and at the same time the content on the qa are not editied by the developers. Can you provide more information on how this can be accomplished.

    Hello Femy,

    Thank you for contacting us.

You need to use an external tool to compare the both databases. As a simple solution you could use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Data Compare option. You can compare the data of databases, databases to the schemas of databases or database projects.  Please find the attached  screenshot  for your convenience.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
