We will be hosting Sitefinity with an external hosting provider.  With the administrative piece for Sitefinity we would like our publishers to be able to FTP any new files to the external web site.  Is this possible with Sitefinity.

    Hi Todd,

I’m not sure what files you are talking about but if it is images or other resources or external pages there is no problem. Actually there is no relevance between Sitefinity and FTP file transfer.

    Hi Todd,

Although Sitefinity's Admin system has a very capable File Upload mechanism there's no limitation on how to get new resources (images, PDF files, etc.) up to your web server.

There's no reason why you cannot use FTP.

I generally steer my low end users toward using the Sitefinity upload tools. But I tend to use FTP, etc when I'm uploaded files.
