    I have a new client with shared server / windows 2003/ IIS6 / .net3.5 / .
They want to use MS SQL express.
I'm trying to download SQL Express on my computer but it fails because I already have SQL 2008 Standard installed.
I was concerned that I must configure SiteFinity with the same server type to be used in production.
So..I tried to configure Sitefinity directly in the server instead of locally then upload. It failed of course.
Is there a way to get this done without uninstalling the SQL Standard version I already have?  I have three new clients that will use SQL Express and SiteFinity.

    Hi Jan Michael Carson,

I have just tried the scenario and succeeded. Everything that I chose during the installation is to create a new server instance for the SQLExpress.

    All the best,
