    Hi,

Just wondering if the users out there have come across a quick way to generate a bulleted list of "published and navigatable" pages in Sitefinity for use as sub navigation on sub-pages.

I know you can use Panelbar to do this by setting its nested level to 1 instead of 0 however Panelbar, although fantastic, is a little over the top for say just a simple left-hand navigation.

For example, If there is a primary nav item called "About us" and it has in Sitefinity pages sitting under it called Our company, Our services, Our mission, Our vision. When I am on the Our services page I just want to have a automatically generated bulletd list sub nav which I will style using CSS in the left hand column that just looks like this:

    • About Us
    • Our company
    • Our services
    • Our mission
    • Our vision
I want to make sure the pages are published though and that they pages defined as "include in navigation"

Just thought someone might have already tinkered with this and got it working.

    Thanks
    Seth

    Hi Seth,

The behavior you are looking for has already been achieved in the upcoming version 4.0 of r.a.d.panelbar which is scheduled for the Q3 release of r.a.d.controls.
If can't wait for the release, you can download r.a.d.panelbar 4.0 beta version here and see how we have implemented the same logic. You also should update the panelbarcontrol.ascx.cs in Sitefinity to reflect the changes in the r.a.d.panelbar API.

    All the best,
    Rebecca
