Just curious, we hard code several links into our master pages, which right now we just handle by putting runat=server on the link and supplying the relative link to the resource. Of course, if someone moves something to a new URL, this breaks everything until we put up a new master page.

Is there a Sitefinity control that we can use for these links that will allow us to specify a GUID, or something similar so that links change as needed?

If you use the Hyperlink Manager to add links, instead of manually typing the HTML, it'll add an SFREF to your links for you. This, of course, is assuming that the pages you're linking to are located on your site.
