    What would be the easiest way to get a simple unordered list (ul) of the sitemap for navigation? I am currently using the TabStrip, but I cannot figure out how to get that without a skin. My css builds the menu exactly how I need.

    The only features that I need are; first, selected, and starting node. Since TabStrip provides this, my question really should be: can I use an empty skin with TabStrip?

    Hi Ricky,

    I would suggest you wrap RadTabStrip for ASP.NET AJAX in a user control. Then, set the Skin property to an empty string and the EnableEmbeddedSkins property to False like this:

    <asp:SiteMapDataSource ID="SitemapDataSource1" runat="server" ShowStartingNode="false" />
    <telerik:RadTabStrip ID="RadTabstrip2" runat="server" DataSourceID="SitemapDataSource1" EnableEmbeddedSkins="false" Skin="" />

    After that you need to register the new control in the <toolboxControls> section of the project web.config file to display it in the toolbox.

    Do let us know if this helps.

    Sincerely yours,
    the Telerik team
