How to create development sandbox for Sitefinity project

    Hi folks,

    I'm currently setting up a new Sitefinity project. As a common practice, I don't want to mix the ASP.NET solution with the webroot itself. Thus, I tried to put Sitefinity out-of-the-box files to a separate folder and my solution to another one, with Web Publish to dump everything into a sandbox, which will be my web root.

    One issue I've encountered is that Sitefinity will change the config files in sandbox folder, and every time I do a changes on Sitefinity back-end pages, I need to copy back the App_Data/Sitefinity/Configuration folder to the source (and eventually check in to source control), which is very tedious and error prone.

    Do you guys have better idea to setup project to avoid this kind of problem?
