    Hi

I've created a custom area of functionality with its own data, and need to do a custom search on this data, i've found this article which helps with this
    http://www.sitefinity.com/support/forums/support-forum-thread/b1043S-bgedcm.aspx

So now i have my custom search index! great, however, i want the search to search my custom index, and the standard index

i.e. there are 2 areas i need to search

    1) Search using defatult index i.e. standard functionality
    2) Include the search for custom data

What the easiest way to do this i.e. how would i merge these two indexes into one ? in order to have both sets of data searchable from one search box?

    Hi Quade,

    Could you do these steps:
    1. Go to Administration -> Search
    2. Click Create a Index and then add from Add Index Source the two indexes that you need (see attachment)
    3. Add to the SearchBox Control the Index you have just made.

Let us know if we are missing something.

    All the best,
