    During Setup my currents projects for new 3.6 I have some problems with Designers for publics UI

    Old methods was :


    class MyGalleryDesigner : Telerik.Libraries.WebControls.Design.GalleryDesigner
    Override InitializeTemplate() ? now?
    Override ItemTemplates is LayoutTemplatepath?

    Could you add some basic sample to Understand new features. Regards

    Hi Pierre,

    The GalleryDesigner now works with embedded templates, that's why it overrides the properties of the base ControlDesigner regarding templates.

    The InitializeTemplate() method was used to get the template from the path and instantiate it. This is no longer necessary, as the path of the template is in the assembly. So you can override InitializeComponent() method and do the custom logic needed for your custom designer there.
