I am trying to work out how to assign multiple "categories" to a piece of conent.

What I mean by this is I do not want a single meta-field called Category where I can select a single categorization I have created in the category command.

I want to have multiple meta-fields, each of them a dfferent category e.g. Size, Color, Shape etc.

SF only lets me select one thing from something called generically Category.

    How do I do this?

Basically I want to use the category framework, but I want to organize my content by many different categories.

If I understand you correctly, this is not possible.

    I asked a similar question.

Yes, this is not supported at the moment. You may consider to use Tags instead of categories.
