I wanted to create an RSS for my blog in Sitefinity 3.7. I'm not quite sure how to make that work. When I go to administration and click RSS feeds I get an error message ("A technical problem has occurred while your request was being processed...").

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Katrien,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Creating Rss feed should not return errors.
Can you provide me more information on the error message like a screenshot or is it a pop-up error or the error is containing  a stack trace? Also can you give me additional information on the server infrastructure where the site is deployed.
Try reproducing the error when firebug is turned on and Net tab is the active tab. This will show which request has been blocked.
To better determine the cause of the problem try running the project on localhost to see if you will get the error. If no error appears then there should be something in the server configuration that is causing this.

As a possible solution try deleting your rss feeds from the database (do this on a backed up copy of your project when making changes directly to the database).
    • sf_RssChannels
    • sf_RssChannelsSettings
    • sf_RssFeeds
First check if you have anything filled in those tables. If they are empty you don`t need to clear them.
