I have implemented URLrewriting into our CMS here.

I have gone into the properties of a page and added a URL for that particular page set to the url that i have set in my Rewrite Rules...

So for example the about us.aspx page, i have added a page url in the properties for /about/us and added a rule in the webconfig to rewrite to the aboutus.aspx page.

Then in the generic content control i select a bit of text and creat a link to an internal page... I expected that it would us the default url setup forthe page but it does not... Is this correct? Should it not use the default url for the link?

    Hello Nugs,

Actually the current implementation of the LinkManager from editor is to create links to the page name. This means that the additional urls are not taken into consideration. I completely agree that this shouldn't be the case. There are some things that could be improved, but we have to be careful not to break the backward compatibility and the way people already used to insert links.
We will think about it and decide how it can be improved.
