I am trying to edit the eventsview template (Sitefinity\ControlTemplates\Events\ContentViewItemView.ascx) in order to change a header tag.  I have the configuration file setup to use this template, but the changes I make to the file are not showing up.  So it does not seem like it is using that template.  Is there a way I can see which template is being used within our eventsview control?  I have also tried mapping the ItemListTemplatePath to the control template and instead of using the template I have in the folder, it is using something completely different.

Am I missing a setting or what?

    Hello Bart Welch,

    1. Use the Mode templates - ListPageMaster.ascx and ListPageDetail.ascx.

    2. Map the template as described in this post working with presentation modes

Note that when you use ControlsConfig file to map a template the application should be restated, otherwise the changes will not take effect.

    All the best,
