I have a customer requirement where they want to have the default CMS page (3.7)
pointing to a particular page in the Administrative part of the site. In this case,
    Modules > News.

I understand that users can customize the default page using

    My Preferences > Start Screen

But, if the user doesn't customize his setting, it points to the dashboard by default.
How do I set that default behavior to Modules > News?

    Hello Peter,

Unfortunately this setting is per user. There is no global overriding of this setting. The settings are persisted in the database, so there aren't any keys or settings that you could modify in the web.config file for example.

    All the best,
