The problem is that the indexer keeps the old and adds the new.

So if I create a News with the title: "Hello World" it will index.
If I update the title to "Hello Telerik" it will add to the index instead of update.
If I search for "Hello" I will get "Hello World" (which doesn't exists anymore) and "Hello Telerik".

How does the indexer works? What should I do to get it to update instead of insert?

    Hi Bruno Michels,

By default we append the changed item to the IIndexerInfo list. The version of a given item is not removed until you run the entire index from Sitefinity >> Administration >> Search or do it programmatically. If we update the entire index on each update this will cause some performance issues ( you can see the indexing execution time when you run in from Sitefinity >> Administration >> Search - it could take 1 minute if you have over 5000 items)
