I added news items and when they are displayed in the news listing the links are broken. I get something like http://mysite.com/default/8-22-08/something.aspx

    Any ideas

    Hi Chuck,

Thank you for using our services.

In this link:  /default/8-22-08/something.aspx, default is the page where you have NewsView contrl, 8-22-08 is the publication date and something.aspx is the name of your news (originally something). The links is generated by url rewriter setting urlRewriteFormat="[Publication_Date]/[Title].aspx" in the web.config file. You can gather more information about url rewriting in Sitefinity form our webinars section.

Set up the control to use DisplayMode - Auto (under advanced tab). Check whether you have specified any page to collects data from news under Settings tabe of NewsView control.

If this do not help, please provide us with some more details about your project and the controls you use on the particular page.

    Regards,
    Ivan Dimitrov
