Is sitefinity suitable for my LMS project requirements (Should support SCORM and AICC also)

    I am new to LMS technology now I have to work on LMS.

    We are going develop LMS project in with C#. Please suggest me what tool or framework is better for me to do this and It should support SCORM and AICC (I don't have full knowledge on these words but these are our requirements).


    I like Radcontrol very much right now we are using for applications.


    Is sitefinity suitable for my LMS project. Please update me. It’s very urgent for me.


    Below are the minimal LMS requirements .

    •   Learning and Web-portal

    •   Enrolment and Course Listing

    •   Administration section

    •   Competency Based Assessment


    •   Infrastructure Hosting

    •   Gap Analysis Engine


    I know sitefinity is for CMS but is it possible customize as LMS. If not possible please suggest me how can I proceed.

    Dot not presently we are using .net 3.5. SQL Server 2008.

    Hello malli,

    Thank you for using our services.

    Sitefinity can be utilized as an LMS, however most of the functionality which you need will have to be developed additionally as it does not come out of the box. Sitefinity comes with an Images & Documents module which can let your user have document sharing out of the box. You can extend the built in modules to provide features like Knowledge Base (as the one on our webiste) events registration, etc.
