I am building a website using Sitefinity 3.7 SP3 and I need to add a few custom fields to the News items. I have found several pages describing the procedure for adding metaFields and added the fields to web.config, and they show up correctly (in the combobox for sorting the News items list, in the backend).
Then according to the instructions I need to modify two aspx files in /Sitefinity/Admin/ControlTemplates/News (ControlPanelInsert.ascx and ControlPanelEdit.ascx) to allow actually editing the metafileds with textboxes, but the files are not there, there are only ContentVersionView.aspx and PermissionsView.ascx. The instructions probably refer to a previous version and so does the FAQ linked from the site backend pages (which refers to Sitefinity 3.2).
What do I need to do to allow editing metafields in version 3.7?

Also I'd like to make other changes to the News editor page such as moving the Category choice combobox above the main content textbox, is this possible? I understand this too requires modifying the two files above.
