I am not sure where the disconnect with my web page is, so I thought I'd continue my research with Sitefinity Support.  My team and I have written a custom control that streams video to a Custom Silverlight control.  Once dropped onto a Sitefinity page it can be configured to a specific video within a Custom Sitefinity Library.  We are using the Custom Library to leverage multiple video types.  So if I upload several videos, .mov, .wmv, .avi, .mpg, .swf...  I should be able to play them through my Silverlight embedded User Control right?  Sitefinity doesn't have any restrictions on this do they, as long as we use a Custom Library that supports any format type?  So far I am only able to play my uploaded .wmv?  Thanks a lot for the great support!

    Hello Scott Harrington,

According to Silverlight Media Element does not support playing files as AVI.  A possible solution will require parsing the AVI file by hand and pulling the frames.  If you were doing this in Silverlight 3  in addition to WMV there are the following formats H264, Raw YV12, or Raw ARGB frames.

    Best wishes,
