    Hi All,

I’m working on a site which uses Sitefinity for it’s content pages, and has other, non-sitefinity pages too. I was wondering how I can set a non-sitefinity page to be the homepage (if it is possible)?

Normally I guess this would be set in IIS, however the sitefinity wildcard mapping intercepts the request so the IIS default page is not used.

    All help gratefully received,

    Thanks - Andrew.

    Hi Andrew Maddison,

You could create an external page and set it as external from the backend UI as the attached image shows. You cannot have "Default.aspx" as an external home page - the name should be different otherwise you could experience some endless loop.

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the response, I was showing my ignorance, I didn't know you could create an "external page" in sitefinity as a reference to a non-sitefinity page. So was a bit confused when I saw your answer (my page didn't appear in the navigation), but I've figured it out now.

    Thanks - Andrew.
