    Hi

I want to call a server method from aspx page. So, I used the jquery ajax to implement this functionality which is working good in normal asp.net application.
I implemented the same functionality in sitefinity by adding a web page in visual studio 2008 but, here it is giving an error saying that 'Resource not found'.
So, I used webservices but, here it is giving a different error
"Access to restricted URI denied code: 1012" when viewed from mozilla firebug console.

    Am I doing anything wrong?
Is there any alternate way to access backend methods in sitefinity?

    -Thanks

    Hi Dinesh,

Maybe the problem is caused because you are trying to access resource in the ~[your site]/Sitefinity/Admin folder. It is protected - only if the user is logged in he can access such resource. If this is the case please try to move your web page in the root of the web site for example.

Also you can use AJAX Web Services and invoke their methods through javascript.

    I hope this helps you.

    Kind regards,
