    Is there a way to open a page containing an EventScheduleView template from a Rad Calendar Control?

    I created a Rad Calendar control that binds to the Sitefinity events.  I want to click on a highlighted date in the Rad Calendar and open a page containing the event details for that date.

    Hello Randy,

    I believe this is possible.

    From your RadCalendar page, you can pass the currently selected date as a parameter (through POST or GET) to a page, with a custom EventsView control.
    The custom EventsView control could be a class in the App_Code which inherits from EventsView class and overrides the FilterExpression property. Basically you should take the parameter from the first page, and set the FilterExpression like:
    • Publication_date = "Your_Parameter"
    Then the custom EventsView control should list the events created on Your_Parameter date. This control should be registed in the web.config file, section controlsToolbox, in order to be used:
    <toolboxControls>
     <add name="customEventsView" type="Namespace.CustomEventsView, App_Code" />
     ...

    Let me know if you have any further questions.
    Greetings,
